We nodigen onderzoekers, professionals, innovators en experts uit om hun werk en inzichten op het gebied van simulatie en serious games voor de gezondheidszorg met ons te delen. Niet alleen van alle fasen van wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar en met simulatie of serious games, maar ook van innovatie van simulatie en serious games.

Zend jouw abstract in tot en met 14 november 2025  en maak kans op een geldbedrag van €500. De zes beste inzendingen mogen het abstract pitchen op het hoofdpodium van het congres.

Abstracts mogen in Nederlands of Engels geschreven worden en bestaan uit maximaal 300 woorden.

Beoordelingscriteria

De abstracts worden geblindeerd (zo mogelijk) beoordeeld door meerdere leden van de DSSH wetenschapscommissie. Geselecteerde abstracts worden uitgenodigd voor presentaties tijdens het congres.

Volgende beoordelingscriteria zullen gebruikt worden:

• Informatieve titel en structuur zoals aanbevolen.
• Educatieve waarde.
• Aanbrengen van context.
• Duidelijke hypothese, onderzoeksvraag of goed gedocumenteerde behoefte.
• Beschrijving methode/programma/didactiek (Beschrijvende werken) of methode/studieopzet/gegevens (Onderzoek).
• Argumentatie van het belang, de impact, en de nieuwigheid (Beschrijvende Werken) of resultaten weergeven die de hypothese ondersteunen (Onderzoek).
• Bijdrage levert aan theorie, kennis of innovatie.
• Relevantie voor de doelstellingen van het congres en deelnemers.

Afhankelijk van de beoordeling van het abstract en de relevantie van het werk, zal de wetenschapscommissie het type presentatie bepalen (pitch, presentatie, poster en/of demo). De auteurs worden hiervan via e-mail op de hoogte gesteld in december 2025. Gedetailleerde richtlijnen voor de presentatie worden opgenomen in de acceptatie-e-mail.

Let op: als uw abstract wordt geaccepteerd, moet minimaal één auteur zich inschrijven voor het congres en de presentatie verzorgen.

We invite researchers, professionals, innovators and experts to share their work and insights in the field of simulation and serious games for healthcare with us. Not only from all phases of scientific research into and with simulation or serious games, but also from innovation in simulation and serious games.

Submit your abstract by 31 October 2025 and you could win a cash prize of €500. The six best submissions will be invited to pitch their abstract on the main stage of the conference.

Abstracts may be written in Dutch or English and should consist of no more than 300 words.

Assessment criteria

The abstracts will be assessed blind (if possible) by several members of the DSSH scientific committee. Selected abstracts will be invited for presentations during the conference.

The following assessment criteria will be used:

• Informative title and structure as recommended.
• Educational value.
• Provision of context.
• Clear hypothesis, research question or well-documented need.
• Description of method/programme/didactics (Descriptive works) or method/study design/data (Research).
• Argumentation of the importance, impact, and novelty (Descriptive Works) or presentation of results that support the hypothesis (Research).
• Contribution to theory, knowledge, or innovation.
• Relevance to the objectives of the conference and participants.

Depending on the assessment of the abstract and the relevance of the work, the scientific committee will determine the type of presentation (pitch, presentation, poster and/or demo). The authors will be notified of this by email in December 2025. Detailed guidelines for the presentation will be included in the acceptance email.

Please note: if your abstract is accepted, at least one author must register for the conference and deliver the presentation.
