The Quality Label for 'Validated Games' in Health is here! A 'seal of approval' for the really good games in health. Finally, one can be assured that a game is effective indeed in helping health care workers and or patiënts! 

Under auspices of the Committee on Serious Gaming of the DSSH, an independent board of renowned reviewers will grant selected games this label. It is very important for public, patients and health care insurances to know which games can indeed contribute to better healthcare for our patiënts and / or  to better healthcare workers. Indeed, game designers need to be aware of rules that apply in health care, such as CE-markings, FDA approval and restrictions on patient data files in order to build good and effective games. The Committe on Serious Gaming is currently developing an online instrument by which such games are to be tested.
