During the plenary Board Meeting on the 31st of March 2010 a Change of DSSH Board has taken place. The Presidency of the DSSH has formally passed on from Prof. dr. Guid Oei to Dr. Marlies Schijven (former Treasurer). Guid Oei will remain active as past-president in the Board, and chairs the Committee on Communication and Public Relations.

Prof. dr. Fedde Scheele decided to lay down his Board membership. The chair or the Committe of Education has passed on to dr. Jean-Pierre Pierie.

New Board Members: Drs. Henk W.R.Schreuder, gynecologist-oncologist, Universitary Medical Center of Utrecht (Treasurer); and Dr. Mario Maas, radiologist, Academic Medical Centre of Amsterdam (Board Member).

The Board of the DSSH expresses much gratitude towards Fedde Scheele and Guid Oei, for their active input in the Society. The Society would explicetly like to thank Guid Oei as being the first President and founding member of the DSSH.
