The DSSH Congress 2012 is upcoming!

On the 28^thof March 2012 the yearly DSSH Congress will be held, in collaboration with our partner Care & ICT. This year, the Congress has the theme -Hands ON!-. Interactive Simulation and Serious Gaming during small-scale workshops is the format chosen, allowing you to actually engage in health care education novelties yourself.

A full day of involvement, organized by frontrunners in the medical and game-designer field.  Experience interaction with fellow enthusiasts, on innovations on Simulation and Serious Gaming commercially available now and in end-stage of development.  Know it all - at first hand!

Important ánd actual, as highlighted by the Dutch Minister of Health recently¹. One simply needs to know how to educate novices on innovations and health care settings,  before embarking on patients !. As education on patient safety and employment of health care technology and innvations are lagging behind, chances for simulation and serious gaming are there, right now. It is clearly stated that health care professionals need to be certified competent -before being allowed to perform actions on patients independently.

Safety first, we all agree. But how to achieve that in health care, dealing with many uncertainties and innovations in a ever-changing environment? What to choose, what works -and what does not in health care education and simulation? How to convince your stakeholders and how to convince your trainees to train?

This year, the DSSH has chosen for a small-scale format that allows you to experience it all yourself: 'Hands-ON!' .

You are facilitated to interact with innovations and questions in Dutch healthcare and beyond on simulation and serious gaming. Innovations not to be missed, and a chance to interact with enthusiast from the medical field, the gaming community and marketing moguls. From diverse perspective an attractive programme has been set up. Workshops take place in small groups, so you can really get a hands-on. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ENJOY ALL WORKSHOPS and do not have to choose from the programme.  Reserve the 28th of March in your agenda,  and keep an eye on our website and/or our Twitter account @dutchsimulation.
